Where is it and how do you get there?

By road

The manoir is a 16-minute drive east of the D674.

By air

The nearest airport is Angoulême-Cognac, a 50-minute drive away. Also within easy reach are the airports at Bergerac (75 minutes) and Bordeaux (80 minutes).

By rail

Connect in Paris and take the train to Angouleme station which is a 45 min drive from Longeveau. Car hire is available from the station.

  • The beautiful village of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne is just a ten-minute drive away and has a river beach and plenty of cafes and bars

  • A huge number of outdoor activities are on offer at Poltrot, just seven minutes away by car, including bubble football and a high-ropes course.

  • One of the best ways to explore the wonderful countryside that surrounds is on horseback with Ecuries Des Chênes.

  • Soak up the peaceful River Dronne from a canoe or kayak, which can be hired from Aubeterre-sur-Dronne.
